Germany will likely remain shuttered 8 older reactors.  And is planning full phase out by 2020.

Japan has canceled plans to build 14 additional reactors by 2030.  Halting all new construction in that country.

Both countries are committed to not increasing their carbon footprint as the result of phasing out reactors, thru use of efficiency and real renewables.
