Scrabble Night

So we are not going to Alchemy, long live the post office.  Things are just too crazy here with the combination of busy hammocks work and actually having some leverage on the North Anna reactor (which will be closed until at least Oct 21st, which is already a win for us).  So my day ended up looking much different than i expected and i ended up doing work around one of the communities regular scrabble games.

The Ta Chai Scrabble game is the most orthodox.  No use of dictionaries except in a challenge and none of this silly cooperative playing which has contaminated the communes style.  Mala, who is a literary whiz, did dust Wizard and Bochie and visitor Bill.   And the floor felt like a Hong Kong tourist Hotel, with construction going on in one room, and scrabble in the living room, and people working on laptops and other rooms emanating giggling.  At one point i went to Harmony and ran into other scrabble players from here and Acorn and they were busily looking at dictionaries.

And in some strange way my spelling impaired dyslexic brain appreciated the original format in this moment.
